Adoric
16.9Adoric Classic suits teams running popup campaigns across several sites. Behavioral triggers, multi-step campaigns and generous pageview allowances make it worth considering for higher-traffic sites.
- Who is this app for?
- Best suited to marketing teams managing campaigns across several busy sites, with different messages for different visitor behaviors.
- Main advantage
- Multi-site capacity: Essentials covers four domains and one million monthly pageviews. Feature access needs confirmation because the plan summary and detailed matrix disagree.
- Main limitation
- A card is required to reach the editor, and conflicting plan descriptions make feature access harder to assess before paying.
Pricing and plans
Card required
Adoric Classic starts at $100/month. Plan summaries put A/B testing and scheduling on Essentials and branding removal on Standard, but the detailed in-account comparison contradicts those summaries. Confirm feature access before paying. This table covers Classic’s multi-site offer. Pageview allowances apply to site traffic, so a narrowly targeted campaign should not be budgeted only by its visible popup displays.
A payment card was required to access the editor in our new Classic account. Free is mentioned in the FAQ, but no card-free route was available in the signup flow we checked. Paid plans have a 14-day money-back guarantee. Adoric warns at 90% of the pageview allowance and asks users to upgrade to keep campaigns running.

Features and plan access
Adoric Classic lists multi-step campaigns, countdowns, A/B testing and scheduling. Its plan summaries and in-account comparison disagree on the minimum tiers for testing, scheduling and branding removal. Pageview and domain allowances are clearer than those feature boundaries.
Choose capacity around site traffic and the number of domains, then confirm the campaign controls you need. We could inspect the billing screen but could not reach the editor without a card. These observations concern Classic, not Adoric’s separate Shopify products.
| Feature | Scope and plan |
|---|---|
| A/B testing | Classic lists A/B testing. The Essentials summary and the in-account matrix disagree on whether Basic includes it. Classic · Minimum tier unresolved |
| Countdown | Add countdown timers to promotional campaigns. Plan not confirmed |
| Webhooks | Send form submissions to a custom endpoint, with a request format, optional authorization header and field mapping. Plan not confirmed |
Formats & content
A standalone message without a form or action button is not confirmed, so Announcements is not credited. Adoric Classic supports promotional popup boxes with custom content and buttons, alongside announcement bars. This evidence concerns Classic, not every Adoric Shopify app.
Scheduling is listed for Classic, but its minimum tier is unresolved because the plan summary and matrix disagree. Bars offer a persistent alternative, and the editor advertises animation and carousel content. Billing follows site pageviews, so a selective announcement should be budgeted against traffic rather than just its visible displays.

Forms
Adoric’s form controls include email capture and multi-step. Build campaigns with multiple steps. Collect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list. The useful distinction is between collecting a contact and qualifying it: extra questions, consent and the next step after submission shape the signup flow. Phone-number collection and permission to send marketing messages are separate requirements.

Surveys
Adoric has no confirmed capabilities in this section in the current review. Choose the response format around the question you want to answer. A recommendation score, a satisfaction rating and a quiz outcome serve different purposes; support for one does not imply the others or an automatic report.

Gamification

Targeting
Adoric’s audience and display controls include scheduling. Classic lists campaign scheduling. The plan summary places it on Essentials, but the in-account matrix also marks Basic; minimum tier is unresolved. Audience conditions decide who qualifies, while triggers decide when a message opens. Frequency and scheduling controls serve a different purpose: keeping campaigns relevant across repeat visits and preventing the same promotion from appearing too often.

Experiments
Adoric’s testing tools include A/B testing. Classic lists A/B testing. The Essentials summary and the in-account matrix disagree on whether Basic includes it. Popup testing, email testing and automation experiments are separate capabilities. A useful comparison also considers traffic allocation, how a winner is selected and whether a no-popup control is available to measure the effect of showing a campaign at all.

Email & SMS
Adoric has no confirmed capabilities in this section in the current review. Capturing an address in a popup and sending a marketing campaign are separate jobs. Compare native sending channels, automation and their allowances independently from the popup subscription; an integration with a mailing platform does not include that platform’s sending service.

Team & sites
Classic Essentials supports four domains, with larger plans increasing site capacity. That can suit one team running campaigns across several properties. A multi-domain allowance, however, does not establish separate colleague accounts or client-specific permissions.
The reviewed evidence does not confirm a detailed user or role model for Classic. If different clients or editors need isolated access, verify that requirement separately from pageviews and domains. Choosing Essentials for A/B testing is not evidence that it also provides the agency-access workflow you need.

Developer
Adoric’s developer interfaces include webhooks. Send form submissions to a custom endpoint, with a request format, optional authorization header and field mapping. The scope of each interface matters more than the API label. Opening an existing popup, sending a submitted form to an endpoint and creating or publishing campaigns are different operations. Agent access depends on those operations and the permissions exposed.

Support
Email support is listed for Adoric Classic Basic and Essentials. The integration guide also directs Klaviyo users to support for developer help with setup. Published coverage hours and a response-time guarantee are not established here, and we have not tested response quality. If a connection is central to the purchase, confirm the assistance available on the chosen plan.

Editor & workflow
Adoric has no confirmed capabilities in this section in the current review. Editing, saving a draft and activating a campaign are separate stages of the workflow. Consider how changes are prepared and reviewed before visitors see them. An AI writing assistant also has a narrower role than an assistant that can change layout or targeting.

Integrations
The Classic form guide covers selecting a destination list and fields for email providers, CRM connections and custom webhooks. Klaviyo setup is described as requiring developer help through support. The table excludes retired Bronto despite its appearance in the guide; these Classic connections should not be assumed for separate Shopify apps.
This evidence is for Adoric Popups / Classic, not every separate Adoric Shopify app. The guide still names retired Bronto; it is not credited as a usable integration. Exact plan access is unconfirmed. Our integration guide explains the connection types and workflows. For store-specific features, see our Shopify popup apps overview.

Works with Shopify
Adoric’s Shopify coverage includes storefront installation, native app, and products and variants. Use upsells and product recommendations through the separate Adoric Popup & Email Popups app. Installation, customer data, discounts and cart actions are separate capabilities. A Shopify listing alone does not establish support for all of them, and features supplied by a separate app need to be considered with that app’s access and pricing.

Capability score
The capability score brings together the confirmed features in the sections above, excluding pricing. Each metric belongs to one section, and a feature’s score includes its subfeatures. The breakdown shows how much each area contributes and where points remain unearned. It measures feature coverage, rather than conversion performance or value for money.

AI agent readiness
Agent readiness looks at a complete working process: understanding a campaign, creating or changing it, operating it, reading results and controlling access. This assessment adds context to the Developer section without awarding extra points. In-editor AI assistance and an external agent’s ability to operate the account are considered separately.
Connects form submissions
Adoric documents outgoing form webhooks that can feed an external agent workflow. We have not established an interface for agents to read, create or manage campaigns. Our Classic account reached the payment screen, but editor access required a card.
| Agent task | What the agent can do |
|---|---|
| UnderstandUnconfirmed | An external interface for listing campaigns or reading saved designs and targeting rules was not established. |
| CreateUnconfirmed | Agent-driven campaign creation, editing and publishing were not verified. The editor was inaccessible without a card. |
| OperatePartial | Form webhooks can pass submissions into an external workflow. This does not demonstrate that an agent can start, pause or change campaigns. |
| MeasureUnconfirmed | Analytics and event features appear in the plan comparison, but external access to campaign reports was not established. |
| Work safelyUnconfirmed | Agent permissions, approval controls and rollback were not established. |
Assessment covers Classic and the linked form documentation. The account check stopped at the payment screen; webhook delivery and API calls were not tested. Conflicting plan summaries leave exact feature access unresolved. Unconfirmed means unverified, not absent.
What one display or signup could cost
At $250.00 per month, the selected plan allocates $0.250 per display and $12.50 per signup across 1,000 displays and 20 valid email signups. The table rounds to cents. The 2% signup rate is an assumption, not measured performance or a vendor charge per event.
The capacity check assumes one site and 2,000 pageviews. Billing is based on site pageviews, which is distinct from the actual outcomes used here. For form-free announcements, compare displays rather than signups. Taxes, separately billed services and customer discounts are excluded.
| Outcome | Calculation | Estimated cost |
|---|---|---|
| One display | $250.00 ÷ 1,000 | $0.25 |
| 1,000 displays | $250.00 ÷ 1,000 × 1,000 | $250.00 |
| One signup | $250.00 ÷ 20 | $12.50 |
Adoric alternatives: which should you choose?
Best suited to marketing teams managing campaigns across several busy sites, with different messages for different visitor behaviors. A card is required to reach the editor, and conflicting plan descriptions make feature access harder to assess before paying.
Compare Popupsmart and Getsitecontrol against that requirement. The cards below explain where each is a better fit. Match the billing unit, required features and site or account limits before comparing headline prices; the cheapest subscription does not always cover the same work.
Adoric vs Popupsmart
Popupsmart Advanced costs $69/month for 100,000 pageviews across five sites, including A/B testing and No branding. Adoric Essentials costs $250/month for one million pageviews across four sites; its summary lists branding removal on Standard at $350/month, although the in-account matrix conflicts with that claim.
- Choose Popupsmart
- For unbranded experiments within 100,000 pageviews.
- Choose Adoric
- For a larger published allowance: Popupsmart requires a custom quote above 500,000 pageviews; Adoric publishes tiers up to three million.
Adoric vs Getsitecontrol
Adoric counts site pageviews. Getsitecontrol Pro counts widget displays: $19/month per site includes 100,000 views; Pro Max offers unlimited views for $29/month per site. Email sending is extra.
- Choose Getsitecontrol
- For selective announcements on busy sites. Four sites on Pro Max cost $116/month versus $250 for Adoric Essentials.
- Choose Adoric
- If its campaign tools better suit your workflow. The bundled site allowance alone does not make it cheaper.
About this review
Popup Papa compares published pricing, product documentation and help articles. This is a documentation-based review, not a hands-on performance test. Dates beside sources indicate when the corresponding evidence was checked; publication does not imply that every source was rechecked that day.
“Documented” means the provider describes the capability. A named plan is shown only where we recorded tier evidence. “Not confirmed” means the evidence is insufficient, not that the feature is absent. Paid add-ons and higher-tier restrictions are stated separately. Conflicting billing information prevents a unit-cost estimate.
Recommendations are editorial judgments about fit and cost. Sources are linked next to the claims they support, and every calculation uses the assumptions above.
