WooHoo
38.86One signup can collect an address, ask for a phone number on the next screen and reveal the reward on the third. WooHoo lets a merchant test another version of that sequence.
- Who is this app for?
- Shopify stores collecting email and phone numbers in stages and testing the offer that follows.
- Main advantage
- A merchant can duplicate a signup campaign as a challenger with separate coupon codes and compare form submissions.
- Main limitation
- The monthly allowance follows eligible visitors. Sending capacity for native marketing email is a separate question.
Pricing and plans
Basic covers 2,000 monthly visitors for $7.99. A store can build the same experiment on Free while its eligible audience stays within 500 visitors. A visitor can open several pages within the monthly visitor allowance.
Prices use monthly Shopify billing. The Free account showed 500 visitors. Allow for unique visitors eligible to see a campaign when estimating monthly traffic.

Features and plan access
In the multi-step template the email, phone and coupon screens can be edited and reordered. Desktop and mobile have separate editing views. A teaser gives visitors another way to open the form.
For an experiment, choose a control, a conversion metric and a challenger. Duplicating the control creates a second campaign with its own coupon codes. WooHoo requires a published challenger before the experiment can collect traffic.

Formats & content
The gallery includes announcement templates. An independently dismissible message without an action button needs confirmation. The gallery includes a bar format and an Announcements category. A free-shipping bar and a coupon countdown serve different storefront jobs. Match the format to the message: a persistent notice, an edge-of-page promotion and a central popup occupy different amounts of attention. Display conditions and billing limits still matter when a campaign contains no signup form.

Forms
WooHoo’s form controls include email capture, SMS capture, phone field, multi-step, and logic. Collect email and phone in consecutive input screens before revealing the coupon. Configure conditional logic in the editor. The useful distinction is between collecting a contact and qualifying it: extra questions, consent and the next step after submission shape the signup flow. Phone-number collection and permission to send marketing messages are separate requirements.

Surveys
WooHoo’s feedback formats include quizzes. Use preference questions for a product recommendation. Choose the response format around the question you want to answer. A recommendation score, a satisfaction rating and a quiz outcome serve different purposes; support for one does not imply the others or an automatic report.

Gamification
WooHoo’s game formats include spin the wheel, scratch card, and pick a gift. Set weighted prize odds for a spin. Offer a scratch-card game. The game is the way an offer is revealed; prize configuration and the signup flow determine what the visitor actually receives. Targeting
WooHoo’s audience and display controls include page targeting, device targeting, audience targeting, behavior triggers, and frequency cap. Select new or returning visitors. Launch immediately, after time on page, on scroll, exit intent or inactivity. Audience conditions decide who qualifies, while triggers decide when a message opens. Frequency and scheduling controls serve a different purpose: keeping campaigns relevant across repeat visits and preventing the same promotion from appearing too often.

Experiments
WooHoo’s testing tools include A/B testing. Create a control and a challenger and choose the conversion metric. Popup testing, email testing and automation experiments are separate capabilities. A useful comparison also considers traffic allocation, how a winner is selected and whether a no-popup control is available to measure the effect of showing a campaign at all.

Email & SMS
WooHoo’s messaging channels include email marketing. Send email campaigns from WooHoo. Capturing an address in a popup and sending a marketing campaign are separate jobs. Team & sites
The installed account manages the campaigns of the connected Shopify store. For agency work, confirm which staff can publish campaigns or declare the winner of a live test. Separate access to the account from permission to change or publish campaigns. For a team managing several sites, the useful questions are which sites each person can work on, who controls billing and whether each site needs its own subscription.

Developer
WooHoo’s developer interfaces include browser API and webhooks. Send form submissions to a chosen endpoint. WooHoo lists a JavaScript API for storefront integrations. The scope of each interface matters more than the API label. Opening an existing popup, sending a submitted form to an endpoint and creating or publishing campaigns are different operations. Agent access depends on those operations and the permissions exposed.

Support
The editor includes a support chat entry. The vendor also publishes a support email on its pricing page. Consider the support channel alongside the work you expect help with. Access to chat does not by itself promise round-the-clock coverage, a response deadline or someone to build your campaigns. Those service commitments need to be distinguished from ordinary product assistance.

Editor & workflow
WooHoo’s editing tools include free editor and campaign drafts. Save a campaign before publishing it. Create a campaign in a Free account. Editing, saving a draft and activating a campaign are separate stages of the workflow. Consider how changes are prepared and reviewed before visitors see them. An AI writing assistant also has a narrower role than an assistant that can change layout or targeting.

Data & reporting
WooHoo’s data and reporting tools include revenue goals. Track orders and revenue alongside campaign signups. Use the reporting workflow to connect captured responses with the decisions you need to make. Downloading leads, scheduling reports and attributing revenue are different capabilities; a contact export alone does not establish an analytics dashboard or revenue measurement.

Integrations
The form can send subscribers to Shopify or an email platform. A custom webhook gives a developer another destination for submissions.

Works with Shopify
WooHoo’s Shopify coverage includes storefront installation, native app, and customer synchronization. Shopify Customers is an available form destination. Installation, customer data, discounts and cart actions are separate capabilities. A Shopify listing alone does not establish support for all of them, and features supplied by a separate app need to be considered with that app’s access and pricing.

Capability score
The capability score brings together the confirmed features in the sections above, excluding pricing. Each metric belongs to one section, and a feature’s score includes its subfeatures. The breakdown shows how much each area contributes and where points remain unearned. It measures feature coverage, rather than conversion performance or value for money.

AI agent readiness
Agent readiness looks at a complete working process: understanding a campaign, creating or changing it, operating it, reading results and controlling access. This assessment adds context to the Developer section without awarding extra points. In-editor AI assistance and an external agent’s ability to operate the account are considered separately.
Storefront interfaces and submission events
WooHoo offers a JavaScript interface and an outbound form webhook. External campaign management is unconfirmed.

What one view, action or submission could cost
A view is a visible widget display. An action is a target-link visit, coupon copy, add-to-cart or standalone consent. A submission sends form data, such as an email, phone number, enquiry or feedback. Submitting a form is not also counted as an action. These estimates do not establish that a plan supports every outcome.
At $7.99 per month, the selected plan allocates $0.008 per display, $0.16 per action and $0.40 per submission across 1,000 displays. The table rounds to cents. The 5% action and 2% submission rates are alternative assumptions, not measured performance or a vendor charge per event.
The capacity check assumes one site and 1,000 visitors. Billing is based on monthly visitors, which is distinct from the actual outcomes used here. For form-free announcements, compare views or actions rather than submissions. Taxes, separately billed services and customer discounts are excluded.
| Outcome | Calculation | Estimated cost |
|---|---|---|
| One display | $7.99 ÷ 1,000 | $0.01 |
| 1,000 displays | $7.99 ÷ 1,000 × 1,000 | $7.99 |
| One action | $7.99 ÷ 50 | $0.16 |
| One submission | $7.99 ÷ 20 | $0.40 |

About this review
We saved a three-step Shopify campaign and created a draft A/B test in a Free account. Plan allowances come from the current pricing page and Shopify listing. Dates beside sources indicate when the corresponding evidence was checked; publication does not imply that every source was rechecked that day.
“Documented” means the provider describes the capability. A named plan is shown only where we recorded tier evidence. “Not confirmed” means the evidence is insufficient, not that the feature is absent. Paid add-ons and higher-tier restrictions are stated separately. Conflicting billing information prevents a unit-cost estimate.
Recommendations are editorial judgments about fit and cost. Sources are linked next to the claims they support, and every calculation uses the assumptions above.
