Sleeknote vs Wisepops.
Run a campaign programme or buy one?
Sleeknote vs Wisepops: compare games, branching forms, experiments, reporting and integrations, including a self-service subscription versus a managed onsite offer.
What do you need your website to do next?
Sleeknote and Wisepops are both credible candidates when a business already has an email platform and wants a more capable onsite campaign layer. Their forms can collect preferences, games can provide a reason to participate, and integrations carry the response into the existing customer workflow.
The purchasing model is the first major split. Sleeknote offers Core with unlimited domains and a separate Gamification package. Wisepops’ current offer includes strategy and campaign production, so the proposal buys service as well as software. A higher starting price cannot be interpreted as a pure feature premium.
The product differences remain important within that distinction. Sleeknote’s game catalogue extends to quizzes and learning campaigns. Wisepops combines branching forms and several reward formats with experiments that can include a no-campaign control on eligible plans. The comparison separates those capabilities from the service work.
How the comparison works
15 rounds compare both platforms against the same 196 capability criteria, with 100 points distributed across the sections. Each round explains the practical differences and adds to the running score. The table beneath each round shows how the points are awarded. The conclusions bring those results together for different uses of the platforms.
Formats & content
Sleeknote separates desktop and mobile campaign designs and display settings. Teasers provide another entry point; on mobile, enabling a teaser replaces the usual opening triggers. Wisepops combines onsite campaigns with controls for message content and display. The table distinguishes the individual formats and content features available for a campaign.

Forms
Sleeknote’s outcome quizzes support preference-led journeys. Wisepops adds branching form steps, duplicate-address blocking and NPS collection; the desired answer type matters more than a generic multi-step label. Sleeknote has phone and SMS elements, short and long text fields, radios, dropdowns, answer buttons and consent checkboxes. Campaigns can span several steps. Its paid Quiz format maps combinations of answers to personalised outcomes and sends the answer values to an email platform or CSV. Phone fields support format checks and accepted-country restrictions. Wisepops includes email, phone, short and long text, radios, dropdowns, checkboxes and hidden fields. Branch blocks send different answers to different next steps. An email field can block previously collected addresses, and NPS collection is documented.

Gamification
Both go beyond a wheel. Sleeknote’s lessons and quizzes broaden campaign structure, while Wisepops offers several reward and calendar formats within its onsite programme. Sleeknote’s Gamification package includes wheels, scratch cards, seasonal calendars, quizzes and Learn to Earn. Wheel prizes have relative probabilities and configurable losing outcomes. Calendar doors have their own dates and content. Learn to Earn combines lessons, questions and staged rewards, with coupon lists for individual lessons. Wisepops documents wheels, scratch cards, pick-a-box games and seasonal calendars. These broaden the types of promotion beyond a single spin-to-win interaction. Format availability does not establish the same probability and losing-outcome controls for every game.

Targeting
Both provide varied targeting and repeat-display rules. Sleeknote coordinates campaign order and domain impressions; Wisepops includes hover and custom-event triggers. Sleeknote combines page and device filters with location, referral, UTM, cookies and new-visitor rules. Triggers include time, scroll, exit intent, click and SiteData. Per-campaign limits, a domain-level impression limit and Campaign order coordinate several campaigns. Wisepops exposes landing, delay, exit, scroll, click, hover and custom-event triggers. Audience controls include regions, traffic source, UTM values, visit history and language. Repeat rules can stop a campaign after signup, click, closure or a display count.

Experiments
Wisepops documents automatic rollout and a no-campaign control on eligible plans. Sleeknote compares two campaigns with traffic allocation; those are different levels of experiment control. Sleeknote includes popup split testing in Core. A test compares two campaigns with traffic allocation starting at 50/50. Saving a test and activating it are separate actions, so the setup can be reviewed before it starts. Wisepops lets an experiment allocate traffic, select a success metric and automatically roll out a winning variant. A no-campaign control is documented for specified newer plans, and detailed results have plan restrictions. Confirm those controls in the service proposal.

Email & SMS
Both primarily hand captured contacts to a separate sender. Onsite notifications or web push should not be confused with native newsletter and welcome-email delivery. Sleeknote’s documented workflow sends captured leads and their answers to a connected email platform. That platform handles the welcome email, subsequent messages and its own sending bill. Native email sending is unconfirmed in this comparison. Wisepops’ confirmed email workflow sends captured contacts to an email platform. Its onsite feeds and web push are separate channels and do not establish native email broadcasts or welcome sequences.

Team & sites
Sleeknote includes unlimited domains and owner-only billing. Wisepops assigns editors to selected sites; site capacity and production responsibilities belong in the proposal. Sleeknote supports additional users and super users, with billing restricted to the main owner. Core includes unlimited domains and account settings provide site profiles. The subscription scales with traffic rather than adding a base fee for every domain. Wisepops offers Admin access to websites, users and billing, and Editor access limited to selected sites. This distinguishes account administration from work on individual websites. The number of sites and the service responsibilities still belong in the proposal.

Developer
Sleeknote’s browser trigger opens an existing campaign, and Custom Integration sends submissions to an endpoint. Its read-only MCP connection exposes campaign and split-test data for external analysis. Wisepops’ API reads campaign identifiers, activation state and performance counts, and exports contacts. JavaScript callbacks connect popup events to site logic. Webhooks deliver email, phone and survey responses with retries.

Support
Sleeknote provides chat, email and phone product support. Wisepops includes campaign strategy and production, which is a different kind of service from a support channel. Both cover chat-based help; Sleeknote’s phone channel may be useful when you want to talk through a campaign setup. Channel availability should be considered separately from response times and service guarantees. Wisepops includes strategy and campaign production in its managed offering. Agree deliverables, turnaround and who handles urgent changes with that team. The service offer alone does not confirm a particular live-chat entitlement for the shared support criterion.

Editor & workflow
Sleeknote lets you save campaigns separately from activation and edit desktop and mobile designs. Editor access starts with a 14-day trial rather than an ongoing free plan. Wisepops lets you prepare an experiment as a draft before publishing it. Draft preparation and activation are separate steps.

Data & reporting
Both provide campaign data beyond a raw lead count. Sleeknote exposes read-only MCP analysis, while Wisepops combines API access with experiment impact metrics and plan-specific results. Sleeknote reports views, leads and conversion rates with device, source and location breakdowns. Its Shopify connection adds purchase and revenue tracking. Lead and quiz data can be downloaded, and the read-only MCP makes campaign and split-test results available to an external assistant. Wisepops’ API returns campaign counts and exports contacts. Experiments support order rate and revenue per visitor, with plan-dependent detailed results. Onsite recommendations and campaign service work should be evaluated against agreed outcomes.

Integrations
Both are designed to work with an existing marketing stack. Destination-specific fields and consent handling matter more than whether the provider logo appears in both catalogues. Sleeknote connects to email platforms including Klaviyo, Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign, plus HubSpot and Salesforce, Google Analytics, Segment and Zapier. Custom Integration sends submissions through POST, JSON POST or GET, with Basic Authentication available. Quiz fields can carry destination names and answer values. Wisepops connects to Klaviyo and other email providers, including Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign and Brevo, as well as CRMs and SMS platforms. Analytics, Zapier and webhooks support additional routes. Google Sheets is a Zapier workflow here, not a native spreadsheet connector.

Shopify
Sleeknote combines subscriber delivery with purchase tracking. Wisepops’ recommendations and Shopify revenue experiments support onsite merchandising, with specific store operations still evaluated separately. Sleeknote has a native Shopify app that sends subscribers to Shopify and supplies purchase and revenue tracking. Shopify also appears among its product-recommendation connections. Coupon lists distribute codes to visitors, including as game rewards. Wisepops has a native Shopify app and markets onsite product recommendations. Its experiment documentation includes Shopify revenue metrics. Installation and recommendations do not by themselves establish every cart action, coupon operation or customer-targeting control in the table.

Pricing
Sleeknote has published traffic brackets and an additional game package. Wisepops needs a scoped proposal; its starting fee cannot be substituted for every workload in the price table. Sleeknote’s current pricing page lists Core at €62 per month for up to 25,000 visitors, or €85 with Gamification. The 50,000-visitor bracket is €74 for Core. Annual billing has a lower monthly equivalent and requires an annual commitment. All these plans include unlimited domains. Wisepops advertises a managed offer from $599 a month. The final scope and fee need a proposal. That starting figure is not a confirmed price for each traffic, domain and email requirement in our scenario table.

The final score
Sleeknote suits an in-house team that wants a broad campaign and games toolkit across multiple domains. Wisepops suits a business buying an ongoing onsite programme with help producing campaigns, particularly when its experiment controls fit the brief. Both need a connected email service for follow-up; Wisepops’ exact workload price remains a proposal rather than a like-for-like self-service tariff.

What matters most to you?
Let’s put your priorities first
First, check that each tool can do the task. An absent or unconfirmed required capability means a dash with an explanation instead of a scenario score, and no winner highlight. Only qualifying tools share the points; a sole qualifier earns the full weight of each criterion it meets. 70 points go to the criteria directly related to it, and 30 to everything else. For “Popups without email marketing”, all 100 points go to the included capabilities and relevant popup pricing scenarios; unwanted features and email sending have zero weight. Both tools earn points for confirmed capabilities; unconfirmed ones earn zero. The first row keeps the original overall score.

How the comparison works
These scores are relative to Sleeknote and Wisepops in this comparison. They cannot be carried over to comparisons with other products: each tool’s points depend on what the other participant offers.
Relative scores, not universal ratings
The same capability earns half the points when both tools have it, and all the points when only one does. Changing the opponent can therefore change a product’s score without changing the product itself. The review pages separately show absolute capability ratings without price.
One shared pool of 100 points
The 15 rounds cover 196 criteria. Each round has a set weight, divided equally among its criteria. These weights are our editorial choices.
How features earn points
If both products meet a criterion, they split its points equally. If only one does, it earns all of them. An unconfirmed capability earns zero. If neither qualifies, those points are not awarded, so the two totals can add up to less than 100.
How prices earn points
Ten scenarios carry 1 point each. We use the cheapest confirmed plan meeting each scenario’s traffic and feature requirements, billed monthly in USD. Equal prices split the point; a plan costing half as much earns twice the share. A free qualifying plan beats a paid one. If only one suitable plan and price are confirmed, it earns the full point.
Which plans count
Feature rounds cover capabilities across the products’ plans. The total does not describe a single subscription; the pricing scenarios identify the plan needed for each stated use case.
How your priorities change the score
A tool must first meet the task’s required capabilities. If a requirement is absent or unconfirmed, its scenario score is shown as a dash and it cannot be the winner; the status explains why. Only qualifying tools participate in point allocation and price comparisons. A sole qualifying tool earns the full weight of each criterion it meets; criteria it does not meet remain unearned. Standard priorities assign 70 points to their relevant criteria and 30 to the rest, preserving relative weights within each group. “Popups without email marketing” instead distributes all 100 points among its included criteria, preserving their relative weights and giving everything else zero. It includes lead capture, testing, reporting and external handoff. Its pricing criteria exclude email sending and feedback workloads. Included email features carry no penalty: only the required plan price counts. The evidence and scoring rules stay the same. The overall-feature row keeps the original weights.
