ConvertFlow vs Claspo.
A guided finder or a targeted signup?

Compare ConvertFlow and Claspo for product finders, multi-step widgets, onsite experiments and the data that reaches a newsletter.

What do you need your website to do next?

A gardening shop asks visitors where they grow plants. Both tools can collect “balcony” or “garden”. The buying decision changes when that answer has to select the next question, recommend a product and also reach the email team.

ConvertFlow combines scored outcomes with a longer funnel that can continue on a landing page. Claspo gives the shop a widget it can coordinate with other offers and lets it send a fixed campaign value alongside the shopper’s answer on supported connections. Those are different uses for the same first question.

How the comparison works

15 rounds compare both platforms against the same 196 capability criteria, with 100 points distributed across the sections. Each round explains the practical differences and adds to the running score. The table beneath each round shows how the points are awarded. The conclusions bring those results together for different uses of the platforms.

Forms

Draw the journey for a visitor who changes an answer. A finder must recalculate the result. For the gardening shop, an email signup can simply save “balcony” to the subscriber profile. The product finder also has to stop recommending the previous selection. ConvertFlow forms can collect consent and custom properties across several screens. A qualifying answer can determine the recommendation the visitor sees. Claspo forms can span several screens, collect consent, accept choice and text answers, and carry hidden values.

Surveys

ConvertFlow can score quiz answers and use the total to choose a result screen. A finder can therefore recommend different products to visitors who started with the same question. Claspo has separate rating and NPS components. For a survey with a written follow-up, check that the destination keeps the score and comment together.

Targeting

If a sale banner and a preference survey qualify together, decide which invitation can wait. Claspo’s queue addresses that collision. In ConvertFlow, plan where the invitation leads once the visitor accepts. ConvertFlow can choose a funnel using page conditions and visitor or contact data. Claspo can queue eligible widgets or suppress an invitation for the session when another campaign takes precedence.

Integrations

ConvertFlow lists newsletter connections on Personal. CRM, SMS and validation can make Prime the relevant starting plan. Claspo can combine a visitor’s answers with static campaign values on connectors that expose both kinds of field. Webhooks provide a configurable delivery route.

IntegrationsConvertFlowClaspo
Email+0.13

Kit, Omnisend, ActiveCampaign, Drip, Brevo, Ortto, Cordial: Send captured contacts to the connected email platform from your forms and funnels. Newsletter connections start on Personal; CRM-oriented connections, including Omnisend, require Prime. Sending and fetching contacts consume the action allowance. beehiiv: Connect the API key and v2 publication ID from beehiiv settings. ConvertFlow lets the editor select beehiiv custom fields when building the signup, so a reader’s answer can accompany the subscription. A shared account key can serve multiple publications; check the ID on each form. Sendlane: Connect the Sendlane account, then add automation actions to a form or funnel step. ConvertFlow can subscribe or unsubscribe a person, add or remove a tag, and set a fixed field value. Map a form input or survey answer separately when the value varies by person. AWeber: After connecting AWeber, choose an AWeber custom field for a ConvertFlow form input or survey question. Configure a list or tag action for the submission. A field can preserve a reader’s answer while a tag identifies which download or sequence the reader requested. Campaign Monitor: Connect the Campaign Monitor API key and client ID. ConvertFlow retrieves lists and custom fields for that client. Set the submission action and field mapping so a campaign answer reaches the subscriber on the intended list. GetResponse: Paste a GetResponse API key into ConvertFlow. The connection retrieves campaigns and tags for form actions. ConvertFlow also documents selecting GetResponse custom fields for its form or survey answers, so a preference can be stored alongside the contact. Mailchimp: Send newsletter signups to Mailchimp from the Personal plan. Sending and fetching contacts consume ConvertFlow’s action allowance, so budget for integration volume as well as popup traffic. Klaviyo: The Klaviyo connector is listed on Prime. Sending and fetching contacts consume ConvertFlow’s action allowance, so include integration volume when sizing the plan.

+0.13

Kit: Use Claspo’s webhook integration to send submissions to a Kit form or sequence. The destination ID and request body specify where the subscriber goes and which fields are included. ActiveCampaign, MailBluster, MailerLite, MailWizz, Mautic, Newsletter2Go, Omnisend, Brevo, Zoho Campaigns, Acumbamail, VBOUT, Act-On, Userlist: Send widget submissions to an email platform through its documented integration route. Field mapping can include form answers and submission context where the receiving connector supports those values. beehiiv: Connect a beehiiv API key in the widget integration and select the publication. Map the required subscriber data and use static fields for information shared by everyone submitting that widget. Create the receiving fields in the correct publication first. CleverReach: Connect CleverReach at the widget’s integration step and choose the receiving group. Map the required email field and any additional supported inputs; fixed values can identify the particular signup offer. Inspect both recipient activation and field values in CleverReach. Dotdigital: Connect the widget to Dotdigital, choose the address book and map the contact inputs. System values such as site language and fixed campaign labels can go into separate Dotdigital fields. An address book membership alone does not preserve a visitor’s answer. Iterable: Connect the widget to Iterable, choose the subscriber list and map email plus any supported contact fields. Fixed field values can identify the campaign or language. Check the type of each receiving field when extending an existing Iterable profile. SendPulse: Choose SendPulse in the widget’s integrations, authorize with the account credentials and select the mailing list. Map each input to a SendPulse field and add static values if needed. A fixed language value is useful for a form published on only one language version of a site. SendFox: Claspo documents a webhook setup for SendFox. Configure the contacts endpoint and authorize the request with the SendFox token; map the required email and supported optional parameters in the request. If the signup belongs to one list, verify that membership after submitting. Constant Contact: Authorize Constant Contact on the widget’s Integrations step and select a list. Email is required. Map contact inputs such as name or phone, optionally add browser or language data, and use a static value when every signup should carry the same offer name. GetResponse: Connect the API key, choose the mailing list and map the required email address. Claspo can also transfer widget answers, system fields and fixed values. Its guide points to the list’s API subscription settings for signups that require a confirmation message. SendGrid: Create a restricted SendGrid key with Marketing access as specified in Claspo’s guide, then choose the list in the widget. Map email and any other supported form fields; static values can label the source. This lets a team identify the popup offer on the marketing contact. Klaviyo: Select a list and map each widget’s fields, including custom properties. Email and SMS subscription requests run separately and follow the list’s opt-in settings. Mailchimp: Authorize Mailchimp, choose an audience and map fields; email is required. Select existing groups, add fixed values and enable opt-in confirmation as needed. A Test button checks the setup.

SMS+0.25

Attentive, Postscript, Tatango: Prime connections for SMS workflows. Form consent and the destination subscription need separate setup.

CRM+0.13

Intercom, Attio, GoHighLevel: Map contacts and use supported lists, tags or fields. The account marks the listed CRM routes Prime, except Salesforce on Plus. Keap: Connect the account using ConvertFlow’s Keap/Infusionsoft integration, then assign form or survey answers to contact custom fields. Use a submission action for the intended follow-up. The recorded account placed this CRM connection on Prime. Ontraport: Connect the Ontraport App ID and API key in ConvertFlow, then select campaigns, tags or existing contact fields in the form actions. Survey answers can populate the matching field instead of remaining only in funnel reporting. Check plan access to this CRM route. Customer.io: Enter the Customer.io site ID, tracking key and App API key in ConvertFlow’s integrations area. The connection loads account data for segmenting contacts and configuring submission actions. The recorded account placed this CRM route on Prime; check access before building the funnel. Salesforce: Connect Salesforce to ConvertFlow and configure the field mappings using the CRM fields’ data names. Map a quiz answer to a field on the receiving record so the sales team can use it after submission. Check the setup against the record model used by your own organization. HubSpot: Available on Prime. Map form and survey answers to HubSpot custom fields, including contact and company details; additional fields use their destination data names.

+0.13

SalesDrive, FluentCRM: Route form submissions into your CRM. Pipedrive: Connect the Pipedrive API token, include Name in the widget and map the supported inputs. You can also create a deal linked to the contact and use a selected component as the deal title. Claspo’s guide excludes transfer to custom Pipedrive fields. Zoho CRM: Authorize Claspo, choose the Zoho CRM module in the widget integration and map the inputs. The guide names Leads and Contacts and requires last_name. It also supports mapping system values and supplying a fixed field such as the enquiry source. Salesforce: Authorize Salesforce from the widget’s integrations and configure the destination and mapped fields. Claspo requires last name in its setup. Map a real surname field for a sales enquiry, then check that the remaining contact and campaign values reach the expected CRM fields. HubSpot: Select a static list and map widget, system or fixed values to contact fields. Email is required; contacts use single opt-in. Active lists are not supported.

What matters most to you?

Let’s put your priorities first

First, check that each tool can do the task. An absent or unconfirmed required capability means a dash with an explanation instead of a scenario score, and no winner highlight. Only qualifying tools share the points; a sole qualifier earns the full weight of each criterion it meets. 70 points go to the criteria directly related to it, and 30 to everything else. For “Popups without email marketing”, all 100 points go to the included capabilities and relevant popup pricing scenarios; unwanted features and email sending have zero weight. Both tools earn points for confirmed capabilities; unconfirmed ones earn zero. The first row keeps the original overall score.

How the comparison works

These scores are relative to ConvertFlow and Claspo in this comparison. They cannot be carried over to comparisons with other products: each tool’s points depend on what the other participant offers.

  1. Relative scores, not universal ratings

The same capability earns half the points when both tools have it, and all the points when only one does. Changing the opponent can therefore change a product’s score without changing the product itself. The review pages separately show absolute capability ratings without price.

  2. One shared pool of 100 points

The 15 rounds cover 196 criteria. Each round has a set weight, divided equally among its criteria. These weights are our editorial choices.

  3. How features earn points

If both products meet a criterion, they split its points equally. If only one does, it earns all of them. An unconfirmed capability earns zero. If neither qualifies, those points are not awarded, so the two totals can add up to less than 100.

  4. How prices earn points

Ten scenarios carry 1 point each. We use the cheapest confirmed plan meeting each scenario’s traffic and feature requirements, billed monthly in USD. Equal prices split the point; a plan costing half as much earns twice the share. A free qualifying plan beats a paid one. If only one suitable plan and price are confirmed, it earns the full point.

  5. Which plans count

Feature rounds cover capabilities across the products’ plans. The total does not describe a single subscription; the pricing scenarios identify the plan needed for each stated use case.

  6. How your priorities change the score

A tool must first meet the task’s required capabilities. If a requirement is absent or unconfirmed, its scenario score is shown as a dash and it cannot be the winner; the status explains why. Only qualifying tools participate in point allocation and price comparisons. A sole qualifying tool earns the full weight of each criterion it meets; criteria it does not meet remain unearned. Standard priorities assign 70 points to their relevant criteria and 30 to the rest, preserving relative weights within each group. “Popups without email marketing” instead distributes all 100 points among its included criteria, preserving their relative weights and giving everything else zero. It includes lead capture, testing, reporting and external handoff. Its pricing criteria exclude email sending and feedback workloads. Included email features carry no penalty: only the required plan price counts. The evidence and scoring rules stay the same. The overall-feature row keeps the original weights.
