Personizely
Choose a product or variant and follow add-to-cart and checkout-start goals separately.
Compare ConvertFlow alternatives for product recommendations, conditional forms, Shopify experiments and agency work. See which parts of a funnel each tool can replace.
Open the last funnel that led to an order. Did the shopper answer questions and receive a recommendation, or did they simply click a promotion for a product they already wanted? A merchant with a guided buying journey has quite a different migration from a publisher paying for Pro to run one split test.
Try Personizely first if the work has moved from advising shoppers to testing merchandise. Try Getsitecontrol for a conditional enquiry or a cart offer. If the logic that matters runs across an entire visit, including what happens when a customer qualifies for another campaign, put Justuno on the shortlist before rebuilding a single screen.
Compare Shopify journeysConvertFlow can take a shopper from an answer to a score, then to a product and a later profile update. Its reports can distinguish funnel steps. That matters for a store where many people finish a quiz but few accept its recommendation. Replacing the quiz with a signup form might leave the store with more addresses and less knowledge of what went wrong.
Its plans also separate operations that can look identical on screen. A form that collects a preference, a flow that validates the address against a service, and a funnel that recommends a product have different entitlements and running costs. Inventory the work behind the submit button as well as the fields on the page.
Conditional product recommendations and A/B tests are Pro features in our reviewed account. Funnel views are one allowance, billable actions another. A successful submission can cause several operations downstream. That makes a busy form doing several integrations a different purchase from the same form storing answers locally.
ConvertFlow review and plansEach group uses the directory score out of 100 for that particular job. The first row gives you ConvertFlow as a reference. A lower-scoring tool can still be the best choice when it solves the particular problem behind the move.
Start with one shopper whose answers rule out your bestselling product. ConvertFlow can score answers and branch to recommendations. A replacement that always shows the bestseller can generate clicks while breaking the promise that the quiz finds a suitable item.
Personizely makes sense when the merchant wants to present a specific variant and measure the cart response. Justuno can decide which experience to show from products viewed, cart contents and profile conditions. Getsitecontrol suits a shorter journey in which an eligible shopper can accept a product or discount inside the widget.
Choose a product or variant and follow add-to-cart and checkout-start goals separately.
Build a workflow around the shopper’s browsing history, cart and earlier answers.
Offer a direct cart action when a customer needs one relevant offer rather than a catalogue recommendation.
A score used to choose one of three collections is different from a preference saved for later email. Export a few completed journeys and mark the inputs, calculated result and destination field separately. The replacement only needs to reproduce the calculation if the store still uses the result.
Getsitecontrol suits an enquiry whose next question depends on the previous answer. Claspo can collect ratings alongside multi-step questions. Alia is especially relevant for a reward-led Shopify quiz whose answers should influence later messaging. Ask each for the record of someone who leaves before the end.
Branch a short fit or wholesale enquiry and preserve answers for the receiving team.
Use dedicated rating and NPS components when the objective is customer research.
Try a reward quiz that carries a shopper’s preferences into the subscriber profile.
ConvertFlow Pro can test the funnel. A version that collects fewer addresses might still recommend a better product and sell more units. Decide whether the experimental unit is the popup, its recommendation or the page where the shopper lands.
Personizely is useful when the store wants widget and website experiments in the same buying decision. OptiMonk can compare an offer against a group seeing nothing. Justuno can branch a workflow into test paths. Use the same attribution window for all groups, especially when high-value shoppers often return later.
Include the product page in the trial when changing the destination may matter more than changing a headline.
Hold out a group that receives no offer to estimate the value of the intervention.
Compare complete workflow paths when several steps can affect the eventual decision.
Look at the person reading the entry. A wholesaler may need business type, order size and permission to call, but no product result. In ConvertFlow that form might also validate an email and sync records, consuming actions that a basic view estimate misses.
Poptin is a useful comparison for address quality. Getsitecontrol can ask different questions of retail and trade visitors. Klaviyo is a good candidate when the main outcome is updating a known customer’s profile for the next flow. Submit the same address twice with a different preference and check what the recipient sees.
Screen unsuitable or mistyped addresses before staff spend time responding.
Collect the extra trade fields only from visitors who need the wholesale route.
Store a preference on the record used for follow-up when the sender already owns the customer relationship.
A notice shown only to visitors on the pricing page can be cheap in one billing model and expensive in another. Take site visitors, funnel views and successful integration operations from the same calendar month. Assume a specific display rate only if the placement makes that assumption defensible.
For selective display, Getsitecontrol prices widget views. Poptin measures visitors on pages running its snippet. Claspo prices website pageviews and gives a team room for variants. Scope the installation before evaluating which allowance is bigger.
Price the actual displays of the small offer per website.
Compare a visitor allowance for frequent repeat page loads within the same visit.
Count website traffic and saved campaigns if the team plans several promotions in parallel.
An analyst can use ConvertFlow’s MCP connection to read funnel reports for selected sites. With additional permissions, an operator can create a campaign from a template, adjust traffic or triggers and publish changes. If both people use the same assistant, decide which of them should be able to change the live funnel before comparing replacements.
Justuno documents analytics access for external reporting. Personizely offers operations on existing widgets with access depending on the credential. OptiMonk is worth evaluating for external authoring. Try a read-only report first, then use a disposable campaign for any requested write.
Compare account analytics when the weekly report is the only job leaving the dashboard.
Check whether the credential can stop an existing campaign as well as read it.
Look at draft creation and publication permissions for an external assistant.
A central account managing multiple brands does not eliminate ConvertFlow’s site subscriptions. For each client, identify the person who owns the subscription, the external sender and the product feed. A working copy of the quiz can lose access to two of those on handover day.
Poptin’s agency path is compelling for independent reporting. Justuno separates Creator from Publisher in the app. Getsitecontrol can separate widget editing from activation. Rehearse a launch without granting the client access to another brand’s contacts.
Test the report and analytics key from the client’s own subaccount.
Give production staff Creator access and reserve activation for a Publisher.
Keep the designer on an assigned site while another operator controls release.
These overall scores cover the whole toolkit. Read the profile of any contender you would consider moving to.
I’d remove the product result from a copy of the brief and read what remains. If it is a few questions followed by a contact request or an add-to-cart button, I’d build that shorter journey before buying another recommendation engine.
Getsitecontrol is particularly relevant for branching lead forms, scheduled offers and Shopify actions. A merchandiser can compare the actual widget displays from a narrow placement with the funnel views and actions on the current account.
If the destination is an existing sender, keep it in place for the first trial. If follow-up moves too, add email credits to the budget and check that a previously subscribed customer does not receive the first message again.
I’d start in the existing welcome flow. Identify the list and property the first branch reads, then work backwards into a native form. A shorter setup is valuable if the buyer still receives the right next message.
Klaviyo suits ConvertFlow users whose form ends the moment a useful profile reaches their sender. It can keep forms, segments and messages on a common customer record. This also removes a data handoff that might otherwise consume a billable action.
Price the real contact and sending volume. If the storefront still needs product recommendations before anyone joins the list, a native signup form solves only one part of the job.
I’d pick a funnel that hands out a discount generously. Set aside visitors who never see it and compare the money left after discounts. That result tells you something a comparison between two successful quiz screens cannot.
OptiMonk is useful when the business question concerns the intervention itself. Its control group makes it possible to estimate whether an offer wins additional orders. A store selling a considered purchase should give both groups enough time to return.
A team also considering AI should separate external authoring from in-editor assistance. Trial the actual workflow for creating and approving a campaign instead of assuming one type of assistant covers the other.
I’d take the qualification form that sales finds most annoying and ask for five sample entries. If the main defect is bad contact details, fix that before reproducing an entire scored journey.
Poptin can check address quality and collect properties that sales or an external sender uses. Its Basic, Growth and Agency offers solve different problems. Buy a mailing allowance only if messages actually move out of the existing sender.
A more modest signup campaign can justify the switch even though a product advisor remains in ConvertFlow. Route the two jobs independently and make sure returning visitors do not qualify for both invitations on the same page.
I’d start with a product that comes in sizes. Let a shopper choose one, add it and go to checkout. Then repeat with a shopper who only looks. If the report can distinguish those journeys, decide whether you still need an advisor to calculate the choice.
Personizely is a serious replacement for the merchandising end of a ConvertFlow funnel. The store can trial a change to the widget or the website and compare distinct goals. Price the tier for testing as well as the entry price of the editor.
For a guided product finder, work backwards from two customers who should get different results. The ability to promote a variant is valuable, but someone still has to implement the rules deciding which variant belongs to which customer.
I’d draw the conditions around the quiz as carefully as the questions inside it. What happens if the shopper already subscribes, has a full cart or saw a different offer yesterday? That is the part of a ConvertFlow migration I’d prototype in Justuno.
Justuno organises work around enrolment, branches and profile updates. Lite includes a limited number of live workflows and custom segments. A single elaborate journey can fit an operator’s day better than several simpler campaigns competing for the same visitor.
Check the boundary between producing a campaign and approving it. A team that currently relies on a client to release the result needs a workable Publisher role. Include the cost of implementation if the client expects someone else to rebuild the journeys.
I’d use a quiz question with an answer the CRM needs and a rating the research team wants. Watch where each arrives. A game can make people finish the experience, but it will not rescue a field that never leaves the widget.
Claspo adds participation mechanics and supports live experiments. This is useful when ConvertFlow’s quiz is being used chiefly to acquire a new subscriber. It is a different proposal for a store calculating a specific catalogue result from several weighted answers.
Compare site pageviews with eligible funnel traffic before committing. A campaign shown to only one category can still sit on a high-traffic store. Include branding requirements in the live quote.
I’d choose an answer that changes the welcome offer, submit an address and leave the final screen unopened. If the right offer still reaches the inbox, the replacement has preserved a promise customers can remember.
Alia suits Shopify teams treating the quiz as part of subscriber acquisition. A preference and an offer can feed the customer’s existing messaging stack. That can be a smaller migration than rebuilding an entire product-selection funnel.
Alia prices by visitors and distinguishes software from managed campaign work. Compare a quiet period and a seasonal launch, then ask who will own tests and creative changes between launches.
Put an unavailable variant into yesterday’s result and run the route again. Check where the shopper lands, whether a substitute is sensible and what remains in the cart. A click to an unavailable product still looks like a successful recommendation in a click report.
Repeat for an in-stock variant. The merchant needs to distinguish a broken stock fallback from a general problem in the widget.
Personizely’s product picker makes this a useful comparison if a merchandiser chooses the item or variant. Keep the ConvertFlow advisor in the running if the answers must calculate the recommendation from a catalogue.
A quiz sends an interest value; a replacement sends a similar-looking display label. Compare the stored values on two sample profiles and inspect the branch each takes. The customer may receive the wrong email even when both submissions reached the correct list.
In Klaviyo, open the profile from the second submission and the flow that reads that property. If the old quiz used a stored code, keep that code or update the flow before sending people through the shorter form.
Count validation calls, sends to a destination and other billable work attached to one completed form. Then inspect an abandoned journey and a retry. A submission count alone cannot explain how much work the integration performs.
Use that inventory to quote a replacement. A tool with a different meter can remove one expense while adding a separate email or validation bill.
With Getsitecontrol, price the widget displays and any paid email sends that the replacement actually uses. If the team still needs an external validation service, put that charge back into the estimate.
Compare orders after discounts and the cost of the items sold over the same period. Include eligible visitors who never completed the quiz. Someone who abandons an intrusive quiz belongs in the business result as much as the person who buys a bundle.
OptiMonk’s no-popup control gives the merchant a baseline for deciding whether to keep the incentive. If the question is which of two quiz results recommends a better bundle, keep the quiz visible to both groups and vary the result instead.
A visitor returning from an email qualifies for a quiz and an upsell. Set a priority, dismiss the first invitation and check whether the second may appear. Repeat after purchase. The order of those experiences is a part of the original funnel that is easy to lose in a screen-by-screen rebuild.
Justuno’s enrolment and suppression controls suit this case. Give the purchase priority over yesterday’s quiz answer so the customer who just bought the item can move on to a more relevant offer.
The selected scenario deliberately asks for a live split test. ConvertFlow Pro combines that with conditional product journeys. If the store only wants to test a headline, most of the larger subscription may go unused.
A useful second estimate starts with a straightforward campaign before CRM validation or product logic is added. Write down which operation changes the required tier and how often it runs. Compare the price of a finished live campaign against the tier that actually supports it.
A/B-test two popup variants, for a promotional click or a form submission; 1 website, 1,000 visitors and 2,000 pageviews per month; at most 250 contacts; no email sending; monthly billing.
| Tool | Monthly price for this workload | What the quote covers |
|---|---|---|
| ConvertFlow pricing | $299 · Pro | Pro includes popup A/B testing and covers 2,000 funnel views, assuming one per pageview; no form actions are needed for a click test. |
| Personizely pricing | $59 · Premium | Premium includes widget A/B testing and covers 1,000 visitors. Essential URL/theme testing is not popup A/B testing. |
| Justuno pricing | $59 · Lite | Lite includes A/B and multivariate testing and a 10,000-visitor allowance; the Free traffic allowance is unspecified. |
| Getsitecontrol pricing | $19 · Pro | Widget A/B testing is a Pro feature; the traffic fits its allowance. |
This capacity example isolates one small site. It excludes sending and connected actions. Use it for a basic notice, then add the actual integrations and publication requirements of the production funnel.
Capacity only: 1 domain, 1,000 unique visitors × 2 pages = 2,000 pageviews, zero contacts/sends; monthly billing.
| Tool | Monthly price for this workload | What the quote covers |
|---|---|---|
| ConvertFlow pricing | $29 · Personal | Assuming one funnel view per pageview, 2,000 views fit Personal; Free cannot publish. |
| Getsitecontrol pricing | $0 · Free | 2,000 widget views fit the 10,000-view allowance, assuming one widget display per pageview. |
| Poptin pricing | $0 · Free | Covers 1,000 visitors and one website, so no paid plan is needed. |
| Claspo pricing | $0 · 3K pageviews | Free covers 2,000 pageviews on one Shopify site. |
Keep ConvertFlow when scoring answers, choosing a product and tracking the shopper between steps are all necessary to sell it. Rebuild one complete result before moving a quiz whose recommendations are already trusted by customers.
If only the newsletter form is expensive, move that placement first. The next catalog update is a better deadline for deciding about the product finder than the renewal of an unrelated email tool.
These scores are calculated for each pair. Read across one row to compare two tools under the same criteria.
| Matchup | ConvertFlow | Opponent | What the comparison helps you decide |
|---|---|---|---|
| ConvertFlow vs Claspo | 26.32 | 20.63 · Claspo | Does an answer need to select the next question and product, or would a targeted widget that sends the answer to the mailer cover the brief? |
| ConvertFlow vs Personizely | 24.28 | 25.86 · Personizely | Does the customer need advice before choosing an item, or does the store need to test how the item is presented? |
| ConvertFlow vs Poper | 25.12 | 27.8 · Poper | Is the recommendation funnel still earning its keep, or could a popup dedicated to one newsletter collect the same qualified subscribers? |
Personizely gets the first trial for merchandising experiments. Justuno gets it for multi-step shopper workflows and campaign operations. Getsitecontrol is the shorter route when the remaining job is a targeted offer or a qualified enquiry. The deciding detail is the last step that still has to take place on the website.
Test a real variant and distinguish the cart action from the checkout that follows.
Check enrolment, suppression and the approvals that keep several offers from competing.
Price the displays, the required field path and any follow-up emails separately.
