Klaviyo Popup Integrations: Lists, Consent, Coupons & Prices

The signup is only the beginning. Choose a popup that carries the right subscriber, consent and offer into your Klaviyo welcome flow.

You already send through Klaviyo. The next popup app should improve how you capture and qualify subscribers without breaking the welcome journey. An email address, a list membership, a profile property and channel consent serve different jobs; check which ones the connection actually writes.

This guide compares the recorded Klaviyo routes in our directory and then follows three practical journeys: an offer, a quiz and a multistep email/SMS signup. Use the overall score to compare the wider toolkit, and the connection details to decide whether it fits Klaviyo.

Start with Klaviyo’s own signup forms

Klaviyo already has signup forms. If your requirement is a basic email popup feeding a welcome flow, compare the built-in form before adding another subscription. A separate app should earn its place with a specific improvement: richer questions, a game, another display format or more control over the campaign.

Klaviyo’s integration guidance treats subscribing with marketing consent as the central operation. Creating a profile alone does not make the person messageable. Email and SMS need their own subscription handling, and list confirmation settings affect when someone becomes a subscriber.

What should your Klaviyo popup send?

The native form is the baseline. To compare an alternative, define the receiving record and the action that should follow a submission. The requirements below identify what the connector must preserve; use them to read the tool descriptions, rather than treating every named connection as equivalent.

RequirementWhat to look for
List destinationChoose the list used by the intended flow. Check existing-list selection, different campaigns and separate channel destinations.
Custom propertiesPreserve interests, campaign name and quiz answers with consistent keys and value types. A string and an array are different inputs for segmentation.
Email / SMS consentCheck the actual channel subscription state. A checkbox value stored as a custom property is not, by itself, confirmation of an SMS subscription.
Discount handoffThe reward must be available when the welcome flow reads it. Check code, expiry and fallback behavior if someone leaves before the last popup step.
Birthday / age dataConfirm the exact destination property and format. An age-gating birth date and a birthday promotion need not use the same field.
Returning subscribersTest what happens to an existing profile, its previous answers and its flow eligibility. Do not assume a repeat submission creates a new subscriber.
Audience targetingWriting a lead to Klaviyo and reading Klaviyo list membership to target a popup are separate directions. Require explicit support for the latter.

19 popup tools with a recorded Klaviyo connection

Sorted by Popup Papa’s absolute capability score out of 100. This measures the overall toolkit, not the depth of this one integration. Prices are the directory’s Papa pick plans, not guaranteed minimum connector prices. Check the connector tier and capacity before buying; Klaviyo and any bridge subscription are separate.

Three starting points for different needs

The table orders tools by overall capability, so its first row is not automatically the best connection for your setup. These three examples narrow the choice by the job the destination needs to perform.

Alia

Alia documents quiz answers as profile properties and an alia_offer value passed at email submission. Those details matter when the welcome email must retain a reward even if the visitor leaves before the final popup screen.

Alia review

Sleeknote

Sleeknote documents mapping to exact Klaviyo custom-property names. It is a candidate when answers collected across the popup need to remain identifiable in the profile; the property names are part of the setup, not just labels in the form.

Sleeknote review

Getsitecontrol

A candidate for a conventional list-and-fields connection when your main need is a flexible popup toolkit around an existing Klaviyo list.

Getsitecontrol review

Use the detailed entries below to check each candidate against your required fields and destination action. The connection description and plan conditions explain which parts of the proposed workflow are recorded and which still need confirmation.

How each connection works

Open a tool for its recorded connection details, pricing caveats and form controls. The form controls describe the popup editor; only the connection description establishes what transfers to Klaviyo. Unlisted field behavior remains unconfirmed.

Getsitecontrol

Connection to Klaviyo

Select an existing Klaviyo list and map widget fields to profile properties. Create a new list in Klaviyo before selecting it here. Email integrations and field mapping are included in Free.

Papa’s take

All features and branding removal are included in Pro. Email sends are billed separately; the subscription and widget-view allowance are per site.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Field mappingMap form fields, system values and static values to an external service.
Multiple choiceLet visitors select several answers using checkboxes.
Phone fieldCollect a phone number with a dedicated form field.
Free textCollect written feedback in a text field, including a comment after a rating.
Single choiceLet visitors choose one answer using radio buttons or a dropdown list.
Consent checkboxAdd a consent checkbox to a signup form.
Hidden fieldsAttach hidden values such as UTM parameters to form submissions.
Email double opt-inSend a confirmation email and add only confirmed respondents to the contact list.
Email captureCollect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list.
Privy

Connection to Klaviyo

Send email addresses, phone numbers and custom properties from Privy to Klaviyo. Custom-property names must match the destination’s internal names, allowing signup answers to remain usable in the profile. This route keeps Klaviyo responsible for follow-up while Privy handles the onsite form.

Papa’s take

A small step up from popup-only pricing adds email follow-up in the same product.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Phone fieldCollect a phone number in a separate signup step. Phone capture alone does not make the contact textable.
SMS captureThe editor includes SMS opt-in. Native texting requires an eligible plan and a verified toll-free number.
Free textThe classic field library offers text and date fields for additional shopper information.
Single choiceCollect one answer with radio buttons or a dropdown. The mini-quiz maps answers to a named contact property.
Multiple choiceThe classic field library includes multiple-select checkboxes and subscription multi-select fields.
Consent checkboxEmail Opt-In and Text Opt-In fields are available in the classic form library.Email marketing consent · SMS marketing consent
Hidden fieldsAdd hidden profile attributes such as UTM values, signup date or a custom value.
Email double opt-inDisplay settings offer single or double email opt-in.
Email captureEmail is a default form field in displays; an email or a phone field is required to create a contact.
Field mappingSign-up fields sync to linked email and SMS platforms; custom properties map by matching internal names rather than a visual mapper.
OptiMonk

Connection to Klaviyo

Connect the Klaviyo account, choose the destination list and map signup fields in the integration setup. The mapping determines which collected answers accompany the contact, so it is part of configuring the campaign rather than simply enabling the provider. Follow-up messages and segmentation are handled in Klaviyo.

Papa’s take

A modest paid traffic tier for an active store; annual billing is cheaper.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Field mappingChoose destination lists and map signup fields to email or CRM providers.
Phone fieldThe visual editor exposes a Phone field with a country selector. This establishes collection controls, not SMS consent or delivery.
Single choiceRadio options expose editable labels and recorded values. The connected field determines the choice type; switching type requires a new element.
Multiple choiceThe native choice-group panel supports multiple checkbox options, with an optional required flag.
Consent checkboxThe test form rendered an unchecked, optional email-marketing checkbox. It is a recorded choice field.Email marketing consent · Privacy terms consent
Free textThe generated form includes an optional comment textarea. An AI revision removed an unwanted duplicate from the first page.
Email captureThe inspected email field exposes required-field and error-message settings. A separate Shopify test form rejected empty and malformed email and stored a valid synthetic response in OptiMonk. The earlier multi-step editor preview did not enforce validation.
Poptin

Connection to Klaviyo

Transfer captured contacts to your mailing platform. The integration selector is available in Growth Free; provider-specific field mapping is unconfirmed.

Papa’s take

Unbranded popup campaigns with a practical visitor allowance. Email bundles are separate.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Single choiceThe inspected field offers Radio and Single-select display modes, with editable option labels and values. This confirms one selected answer; it does not establish a scored quiz or rating scale.
Email double opt-inChoose a double opt-in setting for the popup or inherit the account setting.
Phone fieldCollect a phone number in a dedicated contact field.
Free textCollect a written response with the Message field.
Consent checkboxAdd an Email Consent checkbox alongside the signup fields.
Hidden fieldsSet an input field to Hidden instead of displaying it to visitors.
Email captureCollect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list.
Sleeknote

Connection to Klaviyo

Choose a Klaviyo list, map campaign inputs and enter exact custom-property names. Additional options send custom data; multistep campaigns are supported.

Papa’s take

Core covers campaigns and testing; buy the Games package only if you need it. Pricing says monthly visitors, but the cookie documentation ties billing to sessions separated by 30 minutes. Confirm the counting rule before choosing a traffic tier.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Field mappingMap quiz answer values and question names to destination fields.
Phone fieldThe editor provides a Phone Input element separately from its SMS element.
SMS captureA dedicated SMS element is available in the form editor.
Free textInput and Textarea elements collect short or longer written answers.
Single choiceRadios, Dropdown and Answer Buttons provide choice-based responses.
Email captureCollect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list.
Consent checkboxAdd a checkbox for consent alongside contact fields.
Pop Convert

Connection to Klaviyo

Send subscribers collected by Shopify popups to Klaviyo through the app’s integration catalog. Use this route when follow-up already lives in Klaviyo. Pop Convert’s own welcome flows and email campaigns are a separate option; choose where the reward and welcome sequence should run.

Papa’s take

The app price follows the Shopify plan. The account shows Free with 2,000 sessions, 100 subscribers and 250 emails monthly; the public listing gives lower Free limits.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Email captureCollect email addresses into the customer list.
Phone fieldAdd a phone-number field with a country code.
Free textAdd short text inputs or a multi-line text area for feedback.
Single choiceAdd a dropdown or radio group for a single answer.
Multiple choiceAdd a checkbox group so visitors can select several answers.
Consent checkboxAdd a checkbox for terms, consent or an opt-in toggle.
ConvertFlow

Connection to Klaviyo

The Klaviyo connection is listed on Prime among ConvertFlow’s CRM-oriented integrations. It connects captured contacts to the platform used for follow-up. Integration operations such as sending and fetching contacts consume the action allowance, so include those operations when estimating campaign capacity.

Papa’s take

For teams that need funnel A/B testing and conditional recommendations; simple lead capture can use a lower tier. Free is for building and previewing; going live requires a paid website plan. Integrations, validation and AI also consume a separate action allowance.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
SMS captureForms expose a Phone field and separate SMS Consent control; confirmation can use an SMS subscription code. Delivery depends on the connected service.
Phone fieldCollect phone numbers with the built-in Phone field. SMS consent is a separate form control.
Single choiceDropdown and radio fields collect one answer; survey answers can use text, images, icons, letters, emoji or colours.
Multiple choiceRadio/Checkbox Select fields and the survey Multi-Select setting allow multiple answers.
Free textText and Paragraph fields collect short or long written responses. Number, Date and Range fields are also available.
Consent checkboxSeparate Email Consent, SMS Consent and Privacy Consent controls are available in forms.Email marketing consent · SMS marketing consent · Privacy terms consent
Hidden fieldsHidden fields can carry extra values; field settings include prefilled values and URL-parameter mapping.
Email captureThe editor provides an Email field, prefilling and submission actions. Contacts can pass to a connected newsletter service or CRM.
Poper

Connection to Klaviyo

Connect Klaviyo to the campaign, select the destination list and map the popup inputs to the matching Klaviyo fields. This lets a signup or content-download form feed the list used by your follow-up emails. Build the reward delivery and subsequent sequence in Klaviyo.

Papa’s take

Pro adds tests, games and integrations. The inspected monthly price is a promotion; confirm the traffic definition and ongoing rate before paying.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Phone fieldPopup and standalone form editors offer a Phone field. This establishes number collection, not SMS consent or message delivery.
Free textStandalone forms and surveys offer Short Text and Long Text fields for written answers.
Single choiceDropdown and Radio controls are available in the popup, form and survey editors.
Multiple choiceThe form and survey logic library offers a Checkbox Group for multiple choices.
Consent checkboxThe standalone form and survey libraries include a Terms control; popup forms offer a Checkbox element. Consent wording needs configuring for the intended use.
Hidden fieldsThe popup integration step offers hidden inputs. Forms and surveys also expose Hidden fields and a dedicated settings section.
Email captureThe AI-generated popup contains an email field. The Plinko editor also has an email gate before play.
Popupsmart

Connection to Klaviyo

Connect with a Klaviyo private API key and choose the list for this campaign. Match popup fields to Klaviyo fields, including email, phone and the collected SMS-consent value. Saved credentials can be reused across campaigns; each campaign still needs the intended list and field mapping.

Papa’s take

The first tier with A/B testing, plus two team members.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Phone fieldCollect a phone number with a dedicated Phone input. This field alone does not establish consent for SMS marketing.
Free textUse Short Text or Long Input for written answers. The editor also provides name, address and date fields.
Single choiceLet visitors choose one answer through Single Choice or Dropdown.
Multiple choiceLet visitors select several answers with the Multiple Choice field.
Consent checkboxAdd the Notice and Consent element alongside form fields.
Hidden fieldsAttach a Hidden Input to the submission without displaying another question.
Email captureCollect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list.
Claspo

Connection to Klaviyo

Provider-specific guides cover sending collected contact data.

Papa’s take

Removes branding and leaves room for a growing store. Shopify pricing is used here. Team invitations are documented for the web app, but its help center excludes Shopify accounts.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Phone fieldThe editor provides a Phone field. This establishes phone collection, not SMS marketing consent or delivery.
Free textText input and Text area collect short and long written answers; Calendar and Date fields are also available.
Single choiceDropdown and Radio components collect a single selected answer.
Consent checkboxThe component library includes Checkbox and Data processing and terms of use controls.
Hidden fieldsAttach hidden fields to the widget submission through the editor’s hidden-field settings.
Email captureThe editor provides an Email field and a separate signup page in the inspected game template.
Justuno

Connection to Klaviyo

Connect Klaviyo from the Apps section of Justuno’s account settings using the requested credentials. Then use the connected app in the workflow builder to push subscriber information to the chosen list or group. Account authorization makes the app available; the workflow determines where the captured data goes.

Papa’s take

The self-service tier includes experiments without the managed-service fee.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Phone fieldThe editor provides a Phone Number property and the inspected wheel template includes a country-aware mobile-number screen.
SMS captureThe wheel template separates mobile capture from email capture and includes SMS marketing consent copy, Terms and Privacy links.
Free textShort Text and Long Text fields are available in the editor, alongside Date and profile properties.
Single choiceRadio Button and Single Select controls are available for collecting one answer.
Multiple choiceThe field library includes Checkbox controls for selectable answers.
Consent checkboxThe editor exposes a Consent Checkbox and a separate SMS Opt-In Button.
Email captureAn Email Address field was added to an unpublished form. Required input, validation, duplicate handling and prefilling are available.
Wisepops

Connection to Klaviyo

Authorize Klaviyo from the popup form’s Sync settings and select a list. Use Merge with for standard profile fields, or enter a custom-property name to create it. Leads carry WisePops as their source, and the list’s double opt-in settings affect subscription confirmation. Notification signup uses a separate API-key setup.

Papa’s take

For teams buying a managed onsite program, rather than just a popup editor. Final scope needs a quote.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Phone fieldThe form field menu includes Phone, separately from Email.
Free textThe question menu offers single-line Text and Multi-line text fields.
Single choiceRadio buttons and a Drop-down list are available in the question menu.
Multiple choiceThe question menu includes Checkboxes for selecting multiple answers.
Hidden fieldsHidden field is available in the question menu for values that visitors do not enter visibly.
Email captureAdd an Email field to a form step. The inspected field can block addresses already collected.
BDOW!

Connection to Klaviyo

Set a site-wide destination, then override it for individual campaigns where needed. The plan guide places email integrations in paid Pro / Plus features.

Papa’s take

New subscriptions use Pro. The legacy free plan ends November 9, 2026.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Email captureCollect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list.
Free textAdd text inputs to collect visitor information beyond email.
Single choiceAdd a dropdown or radio group for a single answer.
Multiple choiceAdd a checkbox group with editable options, labels and stored variable names.
Consent checkboxAdd consent checkboxes, including a dedicated GDPR opt-in element.
Hidden fieldsAdd hidden fields to carry extra values with the submission.
Alia

Connection to Klaviyo

Sync email, phone and first name, popup identifiers, custom submission fields and poll answers. Rewards include code, description and expiry properties; poll answers become strings or arrays. The guide documents channel consent, consent timestamps and form versions, plus age_gated_date_of_birth when a birthday field is present. These are flat profile properties, not Klaviyo Custom Objects. Pass alia_offer at email submission so a visitor leaving before the success screen can still receive the code in a welcome flow.

Papa’s take

The entry tier already includes the core popup experiments. Shopify listing and the site calculator show different tiers; these are Shopify listing prices.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
SMS captureThe setup offers SMS collection, a country selector and single/double opt-in screens. Double opt-in reward delivery requires a flow with the SMS provider.
Single choiceMini quiz records the selected answer under an editable question property and passes it to integrations.
Email captureThe inspected multi-step popup includes an Email field. Contacts and answer properties can pass to connected marketing platforms.
Picreel

Connection to Klaviyo

Send collected contact information into the destination platform.

Papa’s take

Enough capacity for straightforward lead capture. Business adds games; A/B testing access needs confirmation.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Email captureCollect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list.
Phone fieldAdd a dedicated phone-number input to a popup form.
Free textAdd an Input Box for a visitor's written answer.
Single choiceAdd radio buttons or a dropdown to collect one choice.
Consent checkboxAdd a dedicated Consent field to the form.
Hidden fieldsAdd a Hidden Field to pass a value without a visible input.
POWR Popup

Connection to Klaviyo

The Popup guides document sending collected contacts to these providers. Standalone Popup places integrations in Pro; the separate usage-based offer enables them from the 5,000-pageview tier. Check the offer in your account.

Papa’s take

A meaningful increase over the 25-submission entry tier, with advanced integrations.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Email captureCollect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list.
Consent checkboxThe popup form includes a Terms & Conditions consent checkbox.
OptinMonster

Connection to Klaviyo

Authorize Klaviyo in the campaign’s Integrations view and select the destination under Provider Lists. The native connection requires Pro or higher and supports field mapping. Create custom profile properties in Klaviyo before mapping them; use the dedicated phone field for phone numbers. Welcome emails and other flows are configured in Klaviyo.

Papa’s take

Adds countdowns and advanced targeting. Renews at $870/year ($72.50/month).

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Email captureCollect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list.
Adoric

Connection to Klaviyo

Adoric’s Classic / Popups form integration supports a destination list and selected fields, with Klaviyo setup handled through Adoric support. Allow for that setup step when planning a campaign launch. This connection belongs to Classic / Popups rather than automatically applying to every Adoric Shopify app.

Papa’s take

Classic plan summaries and the in-account feature matrix disagree on tier access. Shopify app pricing is a different offer.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Email captureCollect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list.
Personizely

Connection to Klaviyo

Connect Klaviyo, then configure the widget form’s automation action and destination list. Standard fields map automatically; additional fields become custom profile properties. Add to list does not record consent, whereas Subscribe to list does and follows the list’s confirmation settings. SMS subscription also requires consent in the form.

Papa’s take

Adds widget A/B testing and personalization; Essential has a different testing scope.

Editor capabilityWhat it does
Phone fieldThe form editor offers a Phone field. This alone does not establish SMS subscription or delivery.
Free textCustom fields include text and textarea for free-text answers.
Single choiceCustom fields include select and radio controls for one answer.
Multiple choiceA multiple-choice custom field type is available.
Consent checkboxSeparate email marketing, SMS marketing and privacy consent fields are available.Email marketing consent · SMS marketing consent · Privacy terms consent
Email captureCollect email addresses through signup forms and pass new contacts to the connected mailing list.

How the connection changes the workflow

The entries above describe individual capabilities. These scenarios put them together: what the visitor submits, what reaches Klaviyoand what should happen next. They are proposed setups using the recorded capabilities, not claims that every route was tested end to end.

Keep the popup reward and welcome email in agreement

Imagine a visitor wins a discount, submits an email and closes the popup before its final screen. The welcome message should still contain the correct reward. Design the transfer around the submit event, not around the assumption that every person finishes every step.

Alia’s documentation specifically calls out this timing issue and describes passing alia_offer at email submission. Use the documented setup, then test leaving early. Provide a deliberate fallback offer in your email rather than allowing an empty coupon placeholder.

Alia review

Turn a quiz answer into a usable segment

A skincare quiz might ask about skin type and the visitor’s main concern. Decide the property keys before writing the questions. Keep values stable across campaign revisions so ‘dry’ and ‘Dry skin’ do not accidentally become two separate segments.

Alia documents poll answers as strings or arrays in profile properties. Sleeknote documents entering exact custom-property names during mapping. Those are concrete routes to investigate; neither means every anonymous quiz response becomes an identified, subscribed Klaviyo profile.

Sleeknote reviewAlia review

Separate the email step from the SMS step

A multistep popup may capture email first and ask for a phone number second. A visitor who stops after the first step should still have the intended email outcome, without being treated as an SMS subscriber. Test both paths, including any confirmation message.

Inspect the profile’s channel status, not just whether a phone number exists. Keep the popup’s success count, list joins and welcome-flow entries as separate measurements. Their differences often reveal an unfinished confirmation step or a mismatch in the flow’s entry conditions.

Check the whole journey before launch

Use a small test campaign with addresses you control. Check the receiving record and the follow-up, not only the popup’s success message.

Test the route and plan you intend to use. A trial that exposes a connector does not establish access on a cheaper subscription. The checks below confirm the receiving result, including repeat submissions and any confirmation steps relevant to these workflows.

  1. Find a new signup in the expected Klaviyo list with the intended channel status.
  2. Inspect custom-property names, array values and any birthday field.
  3. Leave before the popup’s final screen and check the reward in the welcome email.
  4. Complete email only, then email plus SMS; compare subscription states.
  5. Repeat with an existing subscriber and check flow filters and updated answers.

Common questions

Do I need a third-party popup app for Klaviyo?

Only if it adds a capability you need beyond the native form. Compare the capture experience, targeting, experiments and costs before adding another service.

Why is a profile present but the welcome flow does not start?

Check the destination list, confirmation status and flow entry rules separately. A profile record is not the same thing as a subscribed list member who qualifies for that flow.

Can a popup pass quiz answers and coupon codes to Klaviyo?

Some connectors document those operations explicitly. Alia is a detailed example for both; Sleeknote documents custom-property mapping. Read the specific tool breakdown instead of assuming every connector sends the same data.
